Fred N. Underwood, 56, of Hugheston, died yesterday at his home after a long illness. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Virginia Mae Underwood; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Bowyer and Mrs. Doris Secrist, both of Hugheston and Miss Norma Jean Underwood of Charleston; six sons, Ralph, Larry, Garland and Terry, all of Hugheston, Donald of Cedar Grove, and Pvt. Jack, stationed at Samson Air Base, NY; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Mae Hawks of Hugheston and Mrs. Edith Todd of Charleston; two brothers, Elmer of Hugheston and Francis of Walton; and six grandchildren. The body is at B. C. Hooper mortuary in Montgomery.

UNDERWOOD, Fred N.—Service will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow in Hughes Creek Church of God with Rev. and Mrs. Clarence Bowen officiating. Burial, under the direction of B. C. Hooper mortuary of Montgomery, will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. The body will be taken to the residence at 2 p. m. today and to the church one hour before the service.
