Amy was born to Andy and Carol Bracknell in Ruston, LA. She looked like an angel on earth with her precious little face and big red curls. We just didn't realize her angelic presence would soon break our hearts. Amy contracted leukemia and went to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis. Amy fought an amazing fight as did her doctors. The St. Jude doctors and researchers claimed many breakthroughs with her treatment and promised the family it would help future patients. Her earthbound suffering would not be in vain or without reward for other leukemia stricken children. However in the end the disease won it's battle and the little red haired angel returned to heaven. Her illness and death were devasting to the family and she will never be forgotten. She was the granddaughter of Lois Johnson.
