When a young woman she joined the Methodist Protestant Church. She was buried in the Agency Cemetery in Agency. Mother is at rest, not dead, but gone to a better life. Although our hearts are breaking yet we are not sad because she is with her God in Heaven who guided her in the paths of love and truth. Although we miss our dear old mother we are reconciled that she has passed from this life of sadness to one where sickness and death never come. Her life was so filled with truth and kindness that although she was so dear to us she has passed to the great beyond, her spirit still remains to lead us to a better life on earth, and we hope a heavenly home in the end. A son
