Gary Boyd Madsen, 67, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home.
He was born December 27, 1941 in Gunnison, Utah to Boyd Gorham Madsen and Kolleen Lucille Bailey.
Gary served an LDS mission in Denmark. He married Alice Louise Magill on February 6, 1975. He was the owner/operator of Madsens Auto.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughter, Tammy Madsen, son, Brett Gary Madsen; granddaughter, Bailey Madsen; sister, Dixie Turner; brothers Gordon Madsen and Danny Madsen. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in the Ward Canyon Ward Chapel, 540 North 1200 East, Bountiful, Utah. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment-Bountiful Memorial Park.
