Gordon B. Madsen, age 66, passed away September 6, 2012 in West Jordan. He was born July 27, 1946 in Gunnison, Utah to Boyd Madsen and Koleen Bailey.

He married Sandra Petersen on June 11, 1976. He served 4 years in the Army Reserve. He worked for 42 years and was retired from his one and only job at the Union Pacific Railroad. He never missed a day of work. His passions were old cowboy movies, hunting, camping, and fishing. His true passion was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and 3 brothers, Gary, Kent & David. Survived by his brother Danny, sister Dixie, his wife of 36 years, Sandi; 4 daughters: Tobie (Steve), Tonia, Shanna (Kory), Aubrey; 5 grandchildren; Ericka, Aaron, Makensie, Austin, Jacob and 1 great grandchild, Ty.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2012 , 11:00 a.m.,at the West Jordan Sunset Ridge Stake Center, 8107 South 6700 West. A viewing will be held Monday, September 10, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Tuesday at the church 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
