A. H. DEEM DIED `TUESDAY AFTERNOON

A. H. Deem, an old and well known resident of the South Side, died Tuesday afternoon at the Spencer hospital after an illness of a year and one-half. He was seventy and was born in Wood County, spending the greater part of his life in this vicinity, where he was held in high esteem.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Deem and three children, Clifford, Norman, and Ruth at home, by two brothers and three sisters, A. I. Deem of this city; Thomas Deem, Parsons, W. Va., Mrs. G. M. Riddle, of Parkersburg; Mrs.Fred Harris, Ashland, Ky., and Mrs. Alice Hoover, Pittsburg.

The body was brought here las night for burial and taken in charge by Leavitt & Co., and was removed to the family residence on the south side, where the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by burial in Mount Olivet.
