Dwight Virgil McCoy, 66, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Saturday, July 4 ,2009, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. There was shouting in heaven as Raymond and Mary McCoy welcomed their baby boy home and they shall reign with the Lord forever. Dwight will be sadly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Virgil McCoy; parents, Raymond and Mary McCoy; and brothers, Odell, Carl, and Eugene McCoy. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 23 Years, Chelvia J. McCoy, of Pulaski, Va.; daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Randy Queen, Tammy Farlow, of North Carolina, and Lisa and Vicki McCoy, of Maryland; son, Joey Farlow, of Pulaski; grandchildren, Stacy, Steven, Jonathan, and Anthony; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Gerldine Foley, of Youngstown, Ohio, Wanda Price, of Radford, Elva (Otha) Semones, of Dublin, Mayola Duncan, of Pulaski, Virginia (Isabelle) Graves, of Blacksburg, Nancy Ritter, Bettie Sue Gravley, and Dorothy Nester, all of Parrott; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Parrott Church of God. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Sifford Cemetery. The family will meet after the funeral at the Parrott Church of God Fellowship Hall. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.
