Shellie B "Bugs" Givans Jr. 70 years old of Brandenburg, Kentucky died August 22, 2003 at Woodland Terrace Health Care Center, Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

He was born November 4, 1932in Meade County, Kentucky the son of Shellie B Givans Sr. and Fatima "Tima" Elizabeth Jones.

He was a retired employee of Meade County RECC after 41 years of service and a member of New Brandenburg Baptist Church.

Mr Givans is survived by his wife, Helen Louise Stewart Givans; three sons and their spouses, Steven Ray and Susan Givans, Ernest Lee and Trisha Givans and David Earl and Melissa Givans; a sister, Viola James; eight grandchildren, Kara Givans, Jon Givans, Josh Givans, Annmarie Givans, Madelyn Givans, Tessa Givans, Kasi Givans and Lindsey Givans.

Funeral services were held at New Brandenburg Baptist Church with burial in Church Cemetery.
