Born May 21, 1912 to Carl and Anna Maria Wichmann Bohn in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Married Marion Eugene Cook on February 14, 1931 in Salt Lake City; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on February 6, 1950. Gene preceded her in death on January 21, 1978. Later married Sidney Weidauer who also preceded her in death.
Gladys was an active member of the LDS Church and served in numerous callings and positions. She served an LDS stake mission, where she was instrumental in bringing the gospel to many souls. She enjoyed going to the temple and attended as often as she could. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Gladys taught through example, hard work and dedication. She is truly one of God's choice spirits. She had a love for life and her memory will be cherished always.
Survived by her four children: Carlos Eugene (Vera), Ronald D. (Jean), Dixie Lee Wilson and Steven Ray; sisters, Ruth Barker, Darlene (Calvin) Cantonwine, and Shirley Cameron; one brother, Alma (Dorothy) Bohn; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving grandmother to many of Sidney's grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South). A viewing for friends and family will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
