Funeral services for Jolene Marie Thomas of Knoxville will be held on Monday, July 6, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Harvey Assembly of God Church with Rev. Larry Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Breckenridge Cemetery in rural Marion County, Iowa.
Mrs. Thomas passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Hospice Comfort House in Pella, at the age of 52 years, 1 month, and 18 days.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by 2 daughters; Stephenie Thomas and Nicole (Dennis) Deaver Jr., of Knoxville; three sons; Bryce Thomas and Brian Thomas of Knoxville and Ben Mauk of Des Moines; 6 grandchildren; her mother, Margaret Anderson of Knoxville; her father, Ray E. Anderson of Lovilia; one sister, Cheryl (Don) Sparks; 3 brothers, Eldon Anderson, Fred (Melonie) Anderson, and Vincent Anderson all of Knoxville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Williams Funeral Home with the family present from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
