Dies in Paoli Home
John Broadbent, a former resident of Punxsutawney and an Uncle of Wilfred Edmondson, of Harmony,died Saturday in his home in Paoli,near Philadelphia.
John had suffered a stroke of paralysis early last week.
He was married to the former Sarah Harl of Punxsutawney,she preceded him in death.Following Sarah's death,he remarried and is survived by his wife.
Funeral services will be held in Paoli on Tuesday.

John H. Broadbent, formerly of Phoenixvile, died at his home in Paoli on Saturday. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. He was retired as an employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1941.
Born near Punxsutawney, he was a son of the late George and Sarah (Boden) Broadbent.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Malvern and Phoneix Lodge 75 F.and AM.
In addition to his widow, Ruth, he is survived by a son, John H., Jr., of Arlington, Va.; two grandchildren, Joanne Broadbent, Chester, and John H. 3d; also the following sister and brothers: Mrs. Michael J. Bush, Kane, Pa.; Atkin, Huntingdon, Pa; Charles, Glasboro, N.J.; Alfred, Tyrone, Pa., and Fred, Alexandria, Pa.
Funeral services will be held at his late residence, 23 Morland Road, Paoli, tomorrow at 2 p.m. burial will be in Great Valley Presbyterian Cemetery, Malvern. Friends may call tonight.
