ROANOKE, AL -- Funeral services for Ella Louise Butler, 81, of Roanoke were 3 p.m. Sunday, 26 Jul 1998 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev S. T. Janney officiating. Burial was at Cedarwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Butler died Friday, 24 Jul 1998 at LaFayette Nursing Home in Chambers County, AL.
A Randolph County native, she was born 2 Aug 1916, daughter of Albert Brewer and Nora Pope Cannon. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Her husband, Hershel Davis Butler, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean B. Hill of LaFayette, AL and Ruth B. Mitchum of Roanoke, AL; one son, John Butler of Roanoke, AL; one sister, Barbara Dillard of Columbia, SC; one brother, Ocie Cannon of Cusseta, AL; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tracy Hill, David Hill, Ronald Mitchum, Keith Mitchum, Wayne Ford and Jimmy Watson.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke, AL.
