Patricia Irene Walser, 74 former Oklahoma City and Edmond resident, passed azaway suddenly of a heart attack on Tuesday June 16 2009, at her home in La Quinta, Ca. She was born September 11, 1934 in Texas.
Pat's grandparents were two of Oklahoma First Families, each settling in Indian Terr. before statehood. Pat was raised and attended schools in Oklahoma, graduating from Capitol Hill High School, where she met the love of her life, Joe Walser Jr. Afterward they attended Oklahoma Stat University and were married on June 7, 1953 in Oklahoma City.. Proud Oklahomans, they also chose to raise their family here...Pat and Joe were an integral and influential part of the golf community in the United States, including Quail Creek Country Club, Lake Hefner Golf Course and Oklahoma City Golf, and Country Club..
Dearly loved by those who knew her, Pat was always a wonderful role model, whether as a devoted daughter, wife,mother or friend...
She was preceded in death by her parents, Welden Warren Eubanks and Dolores Meldrena Higgins Eubanks Fowler; step-father Lewis Glen Fowler; sister Joyce Leah Davidson Fennell; and step-brother Glen Fowler Jr.
Survivors include her husband Joe Walser Jr, 5 children, grandchildren, family and friends...
Funeral services were held at Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church under the direction of Fitzhenry-Wiefels Funeral Home with interment at Coachella Valley Cemeterin in Riverside Co. Ca. June 23 2009
