Floyd F. Anderson, age 55, well known rural resident of Olney, passed away early this morning Feb. 22, 1964 at the Richland Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.
Mr. Anderson was a lifelong resident of Richland county and was born March 12, 1908, the son of Joseph Anderson and Minnie Toney. He was married to Katie Myers Dec. 31, 1927. She survives him. Also surviving are four children: Robert Anderson of St. Louis, Mo., Gerald and Neil Anderson both of Olney, and Mrs. Juanita Long of Calumet City. There are 14 grandchildren.
He also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Ira Anderson of Olney, Mrs. Bessie Salter of Flora, Mrs. Ora Travis of Winona, Mrs. Ruby Summers of Belvidere, Mrs. Opal Harrison of Wixom, Mich., a half sister,, Mrs. Neva Hazel of Aurora, two step-brothers, Darrell Mccleary of Bloomington and Willie McCleary of Winter Haven, Fla., and a step-sister, Mrs. Beatrice Schnell of Noble.
Funeral Arrangements for Mr. Anderson will be announced later from the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home.
