John A. Baker
Mahaffey – John Adam Baker, 72, a lifelong resident of Bell Township, died yesterday in the home of his sister, Mrs. Zoe Miller, of Mahaffey R. D. His death followed a year's illness.
Mr. Baker was born May 11, 1892, a son of John and Lennie (Breth) Baker, both deceased.
In addition to Mrs. Miller, he is survived by two other sisters, Mrs. Nellie Lingenfelter and Mrs. Iona Webster, both of Mahaffey R. D. 1.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Banner Ridge EUB Church with burial following in the Banner Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate.
Friends may call at the home of his sister, Mrs. Miller, this evening, Wednesday, and until 11 a.m. Thursday. They may call at the church from noon Thursday until time of services.
