Bonnie McLaughlin, 87, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at SOMC Hospice.
A native of Greenup, Ky., she was born Dec. 27, 1921, to the late William Denver Eggers and Nancy Stewart Eggers.
Bonnie attended Christ's Community Church and was a former employee of State Farm Insurance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Huxley Kennedy, on Nov. 14, 1973, and husband, Robert McLaughlin, on March 8, 1998.
Bonnie is survived by three sons, Doug Lowe of Monroeville, Ala., Ronald Hale of Huntington, and Larry Hale of Portsmouth; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Ava Chaboudy of Portsmouth.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Memorial Burial Park, with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company of Portsmouth.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ's Community Church, 25th and Thomas, Portsmouth, OH 45662.
