Glenn was born August 22, 1942 in Tonasket, WA, a son of Harry and Nancy Margaret Deakin Blakley. He married Judi Martin on Dec. 5, 1981, in Smithfield. She survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Jean (Mike) Farrell, Jennifer (Dante) Mably, Janet (Dan) Martindale and Julie Messimer; two sons, Bill Hosbrough and Jim McCartney; two brothers, Bill (Andrea) Blakley and Larry Scott (Lori) Blakley; one sister, Nancy Blakley; three stepbrothers, Ronald Henderson, Donald Henderson and Richard Henderson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was a union millwright working out of Local 1051 for over 35 years.
Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield.
