Born April 30, 1883, Milburn, Sanpete County, to Thomas Jefferson and Missouri Jane Owens Housekeeper.

Married to Moroni (Rone) Vance Dec. 18, 1901, Milburn. Marriage later solemnized, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Life time resident of Fairview. Active member LDS Church.

Survivors: husband; sons, daughter, Giles, Tooele; Adral, Magna; Rex, Murray; Mrs. Aaron (Mae) Sheppard, Lehi; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Tuesday 1 p.m., Fairview South LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call prior, family home. Burial Fairview Cemetery.
