He was educated in Woodland schools and was a member of the Woodland Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, a son Lonny, Mrs. Betty Heiden, a stepson, Eugene Behrens, his brothers Oscar, Elwood and Frank, his sisters, Mrs. Pearl Muller and Mrs. Blanche Baker and seven grandchildren.
