Mrs. Nave was a member of Hunter Memorial Baptist Church and she loved her church family. She was retired from North American Rayon Corporation and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Nave is survived by a daughter, Miss Barbara Sue Jackson, Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive including a special niece, Karen Berry, Elizabethton and a special friend Mary Lou Bowers, Elizabethton.
The funeral service for Mrs. Nave will be conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Tetrick Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace with Mr. Herman Crumley officiating. Music will be under the direction of Charlotte Crumley and Ina Mae Bailiff. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Thursday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted at noon on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:15 AM to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be friends, neighbors and her church family.
