Funeral services were held at the Micola Baptist church last Friday for Mrs. Maudie Graham Clark, 69, who died at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital on June 9. The Rev. Leroy Jones conducted the service and burial was in Maple Cemetery, with H.S. Smith Funral Home in charge.
Mrs. Clark was born August 22, 1884 at Carthage, Mo., and attended the schools there. On December 25, 1906, in Finley, Tenn., she was married to Hugh A. Clark and the family moved to Pemiscot county 46 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, H.A. Clark of this city; five sons, Willie Clark of Pascola, J. Hugh Clark of St. Louis, Perry and Ralph Clark of Tallapoosa, Mo. and Vester Clark of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Ethie Hinchey of Steele, Route 3, and Mrs. Rose Mary Stone of this city; one sister, Mrs. Cordie Bell Brewer, Caruthersville; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
