Funeral service was held Friday, August 4, at the Micola Baptist Church for Mrs. Ethie Hinchey, 59, who died August 1st at Effingham, IL. The Rev. A. C. Gardner of Peach Orchard, MO and Rev. Dalton Hawkins of Micola officiated.

Mrs. Hichey was fatally injured in an automobile accident near Effingham while on the way to visit her daughter in Anchorage, AK.

Born September 29, 107, inFinley, TN, Mrs. Hinchey was the daughter of Hugh and Maude Clark.

She was united in marriage October 14, 1923, to Oscar Hinchey in Caruthersville, MO. Me. Hinchey died August 26, 1965.

She leaves two sons, Max L. Hinchey of Hayti and Rayburn Hinchey, stationed with the US> Air Force at Ft. Belvoir, VA; three daughters: Mrs. Betty Jo Ballard of Steele; Mrs. Maxine Franklin of Shelby, MS and Mrs. Emma Jean Thompson of Anchotrage, AK; five brothers, J. Hugh Clark of St. Louis; Willie Clark of Caruthersville; Ralph Clark of Poplar Bluff; Perry Clark and Vester Clark of Tallapoosa, MO; one sister, Mrs. Rosemary Stone of Caruthersville and 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Johnny Alford, Billy Franklin, Kenneth Travis, Buddy Balley, Joe Davidson and Jerome Franklin.

Honorary pall bearers were Gail Davidson, Bud Alford, Lawrence Barnes, Bowen Travis, Preston Blaylock, Chip Franklin and Fred Franklin.

Burial was at Memorial Gardens, Caruthersville, with the John W. German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
