Funeral rites for Leonard Clyde Metcalf were held Friday, January 8, 1960.

He was survived by his mother, Mrs. Burgie Allman Metcalf of Cullen; his wife, Mrs. Susie Agnes Metcalf; a daughter, Lynda Joyce Metcalf; two sons, Bennie and Warren Metcalf, all of Cullen; four sisters, Mrs. Howard Carson and Mrs. Earl Lamberth of Cullen, Mrs. Roy Gunther of Keysville and Mrs. Glenn Dunnivant of Meherrin; and seven brothers, J.F., Wayne and Ralph Metcalf, all of Cullen, T.M. and J.L. Metcalf of Darlington Heights, George Metcalf of Pamplin and Glenn Metcalf of Baltimore.
