Paul Kochis, 53, of 13 Delmar Street, Binghamton, died Friday morning at Binghamton General Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Frances Kochis, Binghamton; 1 daughter, Miss Frances Ann Kochis, at home; 1 son, Paul Kochis, Binghamton; 5 sisters, Mrs. Irene (Kochis) Bomysoad, Binghamton; Mrs. Mildred Rifenbury, Binghamton; Mrs. Jerry (Isabel) Mrkus, Binghamton; Mrs. Richard (Genevieve) Hoover, Binghamton; Mrs. Roseanne Curtis, Binghamton; 2 brothers, Robert E. Kochis, Binghamton; and Eugene F. Kochis, Apalachin; 3 grandchildren, also several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. He was the owner of the former Marvel Cleaners, Conklin Ave for over 20 years and then employed by Broome County at Broome Community College. He was a member of St. Andrew's Church and a veteran of WW II.
Funeral Services will be held at the Peter P. Savage Funeral Home, 338 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, Monday 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church where a Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
