Mrs. Sophie Veronica Kochis, 68 Dickenson St., died at 3 a.m. Tuesday at Binghamton General Hospital. She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church. She is survived by her husband, Paul Kochis, Sr., Binghamton; four sons, Paul Kochis, Jr., John Kochis, Robert Kochis, and Eugene Kochis, all of Binghamton; six daughters, Mrs. Irene Bomysoad, Mrs. Isabel Guy, Mrs. Margaret Wood, Mrs. Mildred Rifenbury, Mrs. Genevieve Hoover, and Miss Roseanne Kochis, all of Binghamton; a sister, Mrs. Alfred Richardson, Throop, Pa; 18 grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the Greskovic Funeral Home, 161 Clinton St. and at 9 a.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church. Burial will be in the Slovak Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
