Earl Harold Hoberg was the son of Peter and Rosa (Schultz) Hoberg. He was the eighth of eleven children. He served as a CPL in the US Marines during WWII. He married Gladys DeLaura (b. Feb 9, 1926) on December 25, 1948. They had two girls, Kathleen Renae (b. 1954) and Dawn Marie (b. 1962).
