Walter Sellers married Zelpha Loucks on Apr 10, 1926. They had four children: Charles Walter, Zora Maude, Mary Rosemond Elgentine, and Darrell Ernest. After Zelpha passed away, Walter married Eleanor Ridenour. Together they had one child, Karen.

Obituary reads: Walter S. Sellers was born Jun 28, 1903, at Osborne, Kansas where he was reared and educated. He married Eleanor Ridenour on Aug 12, 1943 at Hoxie, Kansas. In 1946, they moved to Beloit, Kansas where he worked in a feed mill. In 1951, he moved to Idaho. He worked at Eagle and Kuna for cattle feeders. In 1962, he moved to Boise, where he worked for the Dallas Harris Ranch. At the time of his death he was working for Anderson Brothers Dairy at Kuna.
Surviving are his wife of Kuna; a son Darrell of Portis, Kansas; four daughters, Mrs. Jean (Zora) Allen of Quinlan, Texas; Mrs. Odell (Karen) Turnboo and Mrs. Brook (Carolyn) Richardson, both of Boise; and Evelyn Cullum of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. June Johnson of Osborne and Mrs. Hazel Bean of Chanute, Kansas. 30 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter and a step-son.
