Lavon passed away Tuesday at home. She worked at many places in the area including, Marshalltown Manufacturing, Monfort Food Service, Steffensons, Mikes Quick Stop and Fisher Woodworking. She enjoyed baking, and was well known for her pie making, mowing lawn and love of animals. She was quite proud of the way her Hosta plants grew back each year. She loved going to garage sales and she enjoyed feeding the birds. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown, and also Mid Iowa Antique Power Association.
