Ringle, Averil "Lou" age 81, of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009. She was a resident of the Dayton area for 15 years, and previously lived with her husband, Dean, in Kernersville, NC. She was born in El Reno, OK and graduated from high school in 1944.

She attended the University of Colorado where she met her husband, Dean. After WWII they moved to many locations and finally arrived in Columbus, OH. She completed her college education at Otterbein College in Westerville, OH in 1978. Dean and Lou moved to Kernersville, NC in 1980, and she spent most of her time there as an office manager of Sports Medicine and Orthopedics of High Point, NC. They finally moved back to the Dayton area in 1994. Lou was an active member of the Centerville Church of Christ.

She enjoyed reading and classical music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; parents, Mike and Clara Leonard; brothers, John and Bob; and sister, Mary Clevenger. She is survived by 3 sons and their wives, Dr. Chris (Kathy) Ringle of Delaware, Ohio, Dr. Kurt (Patricia) Ringle of Columbus, OH, and Dr. Mark (Margaret) Ringle of Beavercreek, OH; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and special niece, Mary Lou Busby.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road. Services will be 10 am Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the funeral home with Minister J.D. Cash officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centerville Church of Christ, Missions Ministry, 1411 Old Spring Valley Court, Centerville, OH 45458.
