Terrell Bridges, age 60, of Crockett, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, in the East Texas Medical Center Crockett. He was in an auto accident, where another vehicle hit him from behind. Mr. Bridges was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Pearson Chapel and had lived in Crockett most of his life. He was a maintenance supervisor for Ampacet in Crockett and was a lifetime member of Pearson Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra (Burgess) Bridges of Crockett, they were married on July 3, 1963; daughter Kelly Suttle and husband Steve of Leon County; grandchildren Nikki Suttle, Sabrina Suttle & Candice Suttle of Leon County; mother Viola Bridges of Pearson Chapel; brothers Earl Bridges and wife nancy of Spring; sisters, Eloise Adams and husband Walter of Crockett, Hilda Adams and husband Mack of Lovelady, Joyce Adams and husband Chester of Weldon, Geraldine Gardner and husband Bennie Frank of Lovelady; father-in-law, Theordore Burgess of Yantis; sisters-in-law, Juanita Bridges of Lovelady, Mary Crabb and husband Pat of Sulphur Springs, Joan Burgess of Mesquite and Fran James and husband Bill of Dallas; brother-in-law Autrey Burgess and wife Juanita of Yantis; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by daughters, Shelly Bridges and Shannon Bridges Spinks; father, Willis Bridges; brother, Howard Bridges; mother-in-law, Vera Burgess; and brothers-in-law, Lavon Burgess and Wayne Burgess.
