Thelma Bratton Cecil, age 70, of 41 Church Street, Dublin, died Wednesday morning at her home. Born in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Michael Bratton & Alice Graham Bratton, and preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Clyde Cecil Sr. She was retired from First Virginian Bank, Dublin, VA after thirty years employment. She is survived by one son, Ernest Clyde Cecil, Jr., Dublin; one sister, Mrs. John Pauley, Welch, WV; one brother, Stuart Bratton, Urbana, OH, and one grandson. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Lockerby officiating. Burial will follow in the Dublin Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. A. R. Keister, 309 Maple St., Dublin. Visiting will be Thursday afternoon at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
