Mary wed William H. Wilson, an Irish immigrant, in Warren county on 15 February 1872. Four children were born the couple. Their first born, Willie E., died in Warren county at the age of 10 months, and was buried at Monmouth cemetery. Son John Lee Wilson was born in Warren county during 1874, but died in a logging accident in California, never married. He is also buried here with Willie and his mother.
The family went to Kansas about 1875, where son Charles Huston Wilson was born in January 1876, and son Clark A. Wilson was in 1881. William died in Kansas on 1 February 1899, and was buried there. Mary and her 3 surviving sons then returned to the Monmouth area, as found in the 1900 census.
Between the 1903 and 1910 census, Mary and her son, Clark, moved to Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa. Clark was listed as a grocery merchant there. Mary passed away in Iowa during 1911, and was brought back to Monmouth for burial with her sons Willie and John.
