Patricia L. Fitzgerald, 71, of 1024 Rebecca St. passed away the morning of May 29, 2009, in her home. She was born in Beaver County, Pa., on Aug. 20, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Jonas Brooks.
Married Paul Fitzgerald Sr. on June 3, 1961.
She was a former employee of Shenango China, where she worked as a gold liner. She enjoyed gardening, painting, playing the organ and classic cars. She was a member of St. Vitus Church.
Survived by her husband, Paul; five daughters, Theresa M. Boutros of New Castle, Patricia J. Kieffer of Indianapolis, Catherine L. Fitzgerald of New Castle, Veronica Tomlinson of New Castle and Lida J. Fitzgerald of Struthers, Ohio; two sons, Paul Fitzgerald Jr. and Theodore G. Fitzgerald, both of New Castle, one brother, Charles Brooks of East Palestine, Ohio; two sisters, Lavina LeFebere of Beaver, Pa., and Mary M. Nuzzo of Industry, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her parents; one brother; John Brooks; one sister, Dolores Boyer; and one grandson, Michael Hanna Boutros.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S.
