JOHN T. OWENS
John T. Owens, 52, of 2105 Madison, died this morning of a heart attack at his home.
Mr. Owens was born Sept. 10, 1911, in Malad, a son of Richard E. and Sarah Little Owens. He was married to Dell Peck on Sept. 17, 1934, in Salt Lake City.
He was a switchman for the Ogden Union Railway and Depot Co. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and the Fourth Ward.
Surviving are his widow, two sons and a daughter, John P. and Don L. Owens and Mrs. Ken (Sue) Sorensen, all of Ogden; one brother, Jed Owens, Pocatello; Mrs. Harold (Helen) Thomas, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, and Mrs. Reed (Isabelle) Nielsen, Portage.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Malad Fourth Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel Saturday after 11 a.m. Burial in Malad City Cemetery.
