MRS. HELEN OWENS
Malad, Idaho - Mrs. Helen Sarah Little Owens, 67, died at her home in Malad Monday after a short illness.
Mrs. Owens was born January 29, 1886, at Morgan, Utah, a daughter of Jedediah Grant and Elizabeth Thurston Little. She was reared and educated in Morgan and came to Malad when about 18 years of age.
She was married to Dr. Richard E. Owens June 16, 1908, at Malad.
Mrs. Owens was a member of the LDS Church, a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge No. 4194 and also secretary of the Malad Rebekah Lodge, Ruth Chapter.
Survivors include four sons and two daughters, Richard T. Owens and Jack T. Owens, both of Ogden, Utah; Judd G. Owens, Billings, Mont., and Stanley R. Owens, Los Angeles; Mrs. Harold E. (Helen) Thomas, Lava Hot Springs; Mrs. Reed (Isabell) Nielsen, Portage, Utah; 15 grandchildren; one brother and four sisters, Ernest Little, Mrs. Hester Robinson, Mrs. Walter Nelson, all of Morgan; Mrs. Margaret Haigh, Three Forks, Mont., and Mrs. Frank Martin, Manhattan, Mont.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Malad Second LDS Ward Chapel. Bishop A. G. Willie will be in charge. Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home tonight and tomorrow until time of services. Interment will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
