The victim's brother, Larry Wayne Dye, was in satisfactory condition at Clinch Valley Clinic Hospital Sunday night. The car in which the pair were riding apparently ran off the right shoulder of the road and plunged down a 400-foot mountain side, according to State trooper D. L. Barney.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dye of Swords Creek; four sisters, Brenda Dye, Sandra Dye, Barbara Dye, and Linda Dye, all of Swords Creek; four brothers, Larry Dye, Harold Dye, Jeffery Dye, and Stevie Dye, all of Swords Creek.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday (today) at 1 p. m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Dye, at Swords Creek, with the Rev. Luther Hubbard and the Rev. Holland Hess officiating.
Burial will be in Boyd Cemetery at Swords Creek.
