On 15 July 1846, his widow, aged 77, applied for widow's pension in Hancock Co., ME, and on 5 Apr 1855, aged 86, she applied for "BLW" [White does not say what BLW is in his book on Rev. War soldiers under the list of abbreviations, but it may have something to do with bounty land]. Abijah and Nancy had eleven children.
