Graveside memorial services for Cathy Louise Faulkinbury, 60, of Ardmore, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Cathy was born on Feb. 26, 1949, to Alfred Byers and Gwendolyn Faye (Cavner) Byers in Ardmore. She died on May 26, 2009, in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Wayne, Pete, Kenneth, Eldon and Luther; and three sisters, Dorothy, Carolyn and Marilyn.
Cathy was a graduate of Dickson High School. She worked as a housekeeper at Lake Murray Lodge and as a circuit board technician for McKay Data. In her spare time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, and spending time on the computer tracing her genealogy. She married George Faulkinbury in Gainesville, Texas, on Jan. 13, 1993.
She is survived by her husband, George, of the home; one son, Terry DeMars of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Denny Byers and David Byers of Ardmore; three stepdaughters and one stepson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
