Stephen Joseph Baldwin, a pioneer resident of Adams County, died at his home near Brooks Tuesday, September 21, 1937 at 11:15 following a three weeks illness.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Henry County, Iowa, January 21, 1854 and was 83 years and 8 days old at the time of his death. He is survived by his sister Minerva Baldwin in Brooks and a brother Frank of San Jose, California.
Funeral services will be held from the home Thursday at 2 p. m. and burial will be in the Baldwin Cemetery.
