Died, January 28, of heart failure, at her home four miles west of Palmer, Mrs. McPharlan, wife of John McPharlan.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church, January 29. Rev. Galloway, of this place, officiating. Although this suddenly departed sister has been in poor health some months past, of late her health has seemed very much improved so that the day before her death she was able to ride out. Her very sudden death has been a great shock to her many friends. She leaves to mourn her loss an aged father, four sister, five brothers, a husband and six children. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all who know them.
