Obituary - Ellen Clark
Aged Woman Is Stroke Victim
Mr. Ellen Clark Died Sunday At
County Home
Mrs. Ellen Clark, 89, widow of the late Richard Clark, Sr., Civil War veteran, died at the county home Sunday afternoon at 2:15. Death was due to complications following several strokes the final three weeks ago.
A life-long resident of Fremont and vicinity, Mrs. Clark had been an inmate at the county home since February 14, 1932. She is survived by one son William Clark, also an inmate at the county home and two grandsons, Frank and Charles Clark.
Before being removed to the county home, Mrs. Clark resided on Middle Street near Elliot and was under the care of a nurse. When her condition became such that she could not be cared for there she was removed to the county home.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the Tschumy Brothers Funeral Home, Garrison Street. Friends wishing to view the remains may do so between 7 and 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Tschumy parlors. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.

County Home Resident Dies
Mrs. Ellen Clark, 88, widow of Richard Clark, died Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the county home. she had been an invalid for many years and had suffered several strokes, the last occurring about three weeks ago.
The body was taken to Tschumy's and funeral services will be held at the Tschumy Chapel Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel between 7 and 8:30 Tuesday night.
Mrs. Clark had been an inmate of the home since February 14, 1932. She is survived by one son, William Clark, also an inmate of the home, and several grandsons.
Mrs. Clark was born in Hancock County, but had spent most of her life in Fremont. She was a daughter of Joseph and Margaret Yeman. (Yarman)
