Christopher Columbus (Hal) Isaacs Christopher "Hal" Isaacs, 87, died Oct. 29, 2007, in Springerville.
He was born in Shamrock, Texas, Nov. 29, 1919. Christopher served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946. In 1984 he retired from the Mesa Public Schools as a maintenance foreman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, woodwork and ceramics.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Wynonah; son Chris; stepsons Ed Blankenship, Curtis Hartman, Geary Hartman and Wylie Blankenship; daughter Carolynn; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Gary Lynn, Jack and Randy.
Visitation was held Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Chapel. Funeral services followed at the church.
Interment was at the Nutrioso Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements
