SHAMROCK - Cora Henry, 80, formerly of Shamrock, died Thursday, July 24, 2008.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Shamrock Cemetery with the Rev. Joe G. Jernigan of Calvary Christian Fellowship officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors.

Cora Henry was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Shamrock to Thomas J. and Ethel Moriah Sisemore Isaacs. She was a disc jockey and manager of a radio station and had lived in the Dallas area since 1981. She was a member of Field Road Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Zora Harkins of Booker.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn R. Henry and wife Debbie of Grand Prairie and Carroll W. Henry and wife Maryanne of Flower Mound; two stepsons, Jack Henry of Garden Grove, Calif., and Roy Henry of Shamrock; a sister, Flora Purcell of Little Rock, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Christina Henry and Ashley Henry, both of Flower Mound.
