Mr. Brightbill 62, died December 16, 1971 in the Michigan Veterans Facility in Grand Rapids where he had been for the six months. He had been ill for several years. No cause of death was available. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Harriett Delano and Mrs. Ada Abbey, both of Ypsilanti; three brothers, H.W. Brightbill, N.E. Brightbill and W.W. Brightbill, all of Monroe, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, M.L. Brightbill, in 1953.
Funeral services were held December 18 at the Moore Funeral Home, Ypsilanti. Burial was in King Cemetery, Monroe County.
