Nancy Carolyn Duzenbery
June 19, 1930-Dec. 15, 2006 Nancy Carolyn DUZENBERY, 76, of 226 West Water St., Akron, died at 7:35 a.m. Friday due to complications from kidney failure at Woodlawn Hospital.
She was born in Rochester on June 19, 1930, to Manford Newell and Vivian Pascal. On Aug. 18, 1950, she married Richard Duzenbery in Rochester; he survivies.
She had worked at Harris Drugs in Akron before retiring in 1988. Prior to that she worked at Delp Cleaners in Rochester for 14 years. She was a 1948 graduate of Rochester High School.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Duzenbery, Akron; two daughters, Kim and husband Kirk Robinson, Akron; Lisa and husband Dr. Mark Harris, Akron; three sons, Bart and wife Pat Duzenbery, Traverse City, Mich.; Kevin and wife Judy Duzenbery, Issaquah, Wash.; Ian and wife Bonnie Conner, Hilo, Hawaii; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Barb Wynn, Rochester. She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Duzenbery on Dec. 15, 1973; and one brother, Richard Newell.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Don Dexheimer officiating. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron. Burial will take place at
Rochester IOOF Cemetery, Rochester. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
