His Son, Dr. D. C. Hawley, Died Yesterday in Statham, Ga.
Dr. F. O. Hawley received distressing news yesterday. A message reached him yesterday afternoon saying that his son, David - Dr. D. C. Hawley - was dying at his home in Stratham, Ga. A few hours later he received a second message saying that his son died at 4 o'clock. The news was a great shock to Dr. Hawley, as he did not know that his son was sick until the first telegram came. Dr. Hawley - the younger - was married about a year ago, and went to Georgia to live. He was succeeding well in his practice, and life seemed opening before him with every promise of happiness and success. his mother was with him when he died, having gone there several weeks ago on a visit to him and his wife.
Dr. Hawley had no particulars of his son's death. He leaves this morning for Stratham to attend the funeral.
