MRS. DELIA M. HEITMANN


Mrs. Delia M. Heitmann died at the residence, 10 Ruby street, Monday evening at 6:30 o'clock. She had been ailing for several years and was seriously ill for the past week.


She was born at Guttenberg, Iowa, March 16, 1886, and lived there until she went to Colorado and Kansas for four years. Upon her return she came to Dubuque, where she has lived since 1915. Her maiden name was Niemeyer and she was married to John G. Heitmann Sept. 27, 1911, at Guttenberg.


She was a member of the Holy Ghost church and the Rosary society, and St. Agatha's Court, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters.


She is survived by John G. Heitmann, her husband; four daughters, Rita, Laurene, Bernice, and Genevieve; two sons, Robert and Harold; her mother, Mrs. Frances Niemeyer, Guttenberg; two brothers, Oscar and Edward, Guttenberg, and a sisters, Mrs. D. S. West, Moulton, Iowa.


Her father and two sons preceded her in death.


The funeral services will be from the family residence Thursday morning to the Holy Ghost church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery.
