{*}Paul Helm, who met with an accident at his farm on the Tittabawasee, about 20 miles from this city, on the 11th last, by which his leg was badly crushed, died at St. Mary's hospital Thursday. The remains were brought to this city yesterday and the funeral will take place in C.L. Benjamin's undertaking rooms at 9:30 this morning. Mr Helm was a single man about 38 years of age and has brothers in the vicinity. The injury which resulted fatally was caused by a falling tree striking his leg, producing a bad fracture. The limb was amputated but the bruised flesh did not heal and a second amputation was necessary. The effect of this proved too much for his constitution and he died as stated above.
