LOUISE DUERRWAECHTER

Mrs. Louise Duerrwaechter, 76, widow of the late Otto Duerrwaechter, formerly of Kiel, died early today at Wisconsin General Hospital, Madison, where she had been for two days.

For the past three years she had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. George Davis, at Middleton, Wis.
The former Louise Dessloch, she was born in the town of Rhine, Oct. 1, 1880, a daughter of the late Louis and Louise Staats Dessloch.

She attended district school in Rhine and on July 12, 1903, was married to Mr. Duerrwaechter of the town of Schleswig.

The couple located in Kiel where her husband was in the painting and interior decorating business. He died in May, 1948.

She was a member of the Frauenverein of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Kiel, and of the GUG Germania Society.

Surviving, in addition to the daughter, Mrs. Davis (Caroline), are another daughter, Mrs. Florence Schmidt, Kiel, one son, Roy, Kie; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. William Johanning and Mrs. Charles Behrend, Plymouth, and Miss Anna Dessloch, Kiel; and a brother, Louis Dessloch,Kiel.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford, two sisters and one brother.
