OTTO A. DUERRWAECHTER

Otto A. Duerwaechter(sic), 72, well-known painter and decorator of Kiel for the past 42 years, died this morning at the St. Nicholas hospital.

A life-long resident of Kiel, he was born July 13, 1875, in the town of Schleswig, the son of Christian and Marie Mahlich Duerwaechter. On July 12, 1905, he was married to Louise Dessloch of the town of Rhine by the late Rev. William Rech of Kiel.

Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. George (Caroline) Davis of Madison and Mrs. Florence Greve of Kiel; a son Roy, of Kiel; five grandchildren; a brother, Ben, of Germantown. A son, Clifford, two sisters and five brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Duerwaechter was a member of the Kiel Redmen and a charter member of the Kiel Fire department which he served as treasurer for 20 years.
